The Office

Dr. Markowitz and his team are based in northern Oakland County, Michigan, where they manage both a doctor’s office for treating infectious disease as well as a separate infusion clinic and tourist vaccine clinic for US citizens who plan to visit foreign countries. His staff is friendly, knowledgeable and offers nearly 50 combined years working to improve his patients’ health. Infusion Clinic and Travel and Tourist Vaccination Clinic

Registered Nurse Ruth Anne Pendergrast has managed Dr. Markowitz’s infusion and vaccine clinic for the last six years for patients needing medical IV infusion services as well as vaccination before traveling to foreign countries. The clinic is on-call to adult patients only, seven days a week, with flexible hours. Insurance is not accepted for traveler’s vaccines. Dr. Markowitz has worked with clinical studies relating to infectious diseases for the last 20 years. He actively seeks people who meet certain criteria to participate and, in exchange, patients often receive treatment at low- or no-cost.
